Beautiful plunge pool at the bottom of a pretty waterfall. About a 30-40 min walk along a road and track from where you have to leave your car but well worth the trip. Got the impression that it would be very busy in the summer, but you could have the place to yourself if you time it right. Water is 16ft (5m) deep according to Google and there are no shallows to stand in, so best for confident swimmers.
Location
Getting there
You can search for the waterfall on Google maps and navigate there easily enough. The road becomes private about a mile before the start of the track, and you can park up at the side of the road at this point.
Accessibility
Not accessed easily. A 30-40 minute walk from the car, and then a steep bank down to the pool. Water is immediately deep so getting in and out requires good mobility, and swimmers must be confident being out of their depth the whole time.
