Scattered across the island are traditional villages and ancient architectural wonders. The island is covered with lush green forest, and the island is home to several bird species, including the rare white-headed eagle. The area surrounding Lesvos is incredibly picturesque, making it a perfect place for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts alike. The island is considered to be one of the most beautiful Greek islands.
