This is an artificial river that is designed as a flood defence for part of the River Thames. It's a popular spot in summer bit there are no powered craft on the river due to the being no locks, only weirs.

Free public car park right next to the way in.

Accessibility

Very easy slope into the water. The weirs can present a hazard particularly if the defence is in operation but they have been designed to be as safe as possible. Multiple entry / exit points.
