Deshaies is a small town located on the northwestern coast of Basse-Terre, which is the western half of the island of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean Sea. The area is known for its stunning natural beauty, with lush green hills and mountains that rise towards the center of the island. The town itself is situated in a bay surrounded by small cliffs and has a picturesque harbor with colorful fishing boats. Along the coastline, there are white sandy beaches, clear turquoise waters, and coral reefs that are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and diving.
