Deshaies is a picturesque seaside village located in the Canton de Sainte-Rose-1, in the Basse-Terre region of Guadeloupe. Surrounded by lush vegetation, this area is known for its stunning scenery, such as its pristine beaches, tranquil bays, and verdant rainforest. The village itself is charming, with colorful houses and a sleepy, tropical vibe. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities in the region, including hiking in the nearby La Soufrière National Park, or exploring the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea.
