Steep slope down towards river but easy access into water, though pretty much straight into deep water. Exit points along left bank to walk along path through Branston Peace Wood or Branston Leas Nature Reserve. Best exit either directly after brook or up steps shortly after into pub garden (Riverside Inn) W3W: text.logic.kind. Good parking in overflow parking at pub. Pub good for drink after.

Shallow and easy entry. River is a quite fast flowing here though so wouldn’t recommend for beginners. Popular spot for paddle boarders too.
